This was in the middle of a residential vacation log cabin neighborhood. It was about 5pm and we were turning around in a cul-de-sac. We had no idea what we were about to cross the path of! This would be the one of the last places you would expect to see an entire family of black bears just relaxing. We were a bit nervous because it was a momma bear and her 3 cubs. You don't want to mess with momma bear! She just stood up and walked away! We just stayed still and enjoyed the beauty of God's creation!
