Multiple vehicle traffic collision
One vehicle blacked out in the number one lane of the eastbound 118 freeway
One vehicle to the right-hand shoulder
A vehicle struck the blacked-out car in the number one lane causing it to irrupt in flames
Multiple vehicles swerved to avoid causing damage to their car from debris in the road
No injuries reported
DUA driver fled on foot

CHP found the suspect who fled, performed a field sobriety test, and took the suspect into custody.

HANDLING AGENCIES: CHP, LAFD

SOT(s): Anthony Cerrato – Lyft driver who had a passenger in a vehicle hit a tire that was in the roadway from the traffic collision.
