A powerful message and reminder today…

The memoir of Paul Kalanithi, a neurosurgeon at Stanford University, who is diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in his mid-thirties. Kalanithi uses the pages in this book to not only tell his story, but also share his ideas on how to approach death with grace and what it means to be fully alive.

I love this quote by Paul Kalanithi and I can’t wait to read his book When Breath Becomes Air. In this book, the author offers a new perspective on mortality, and reveals, through his life experience, how to live and find meaning when breath is still breath.

And I just want to remind you that as an end of life doula, I accompany my clients through the maze of decisions while helping them to identify their needs in all areas of their life, and in all I do there is the world life. As an end of life doula, I accompany snd support life as even if people I work with are dying, until they actually die, they are still alive. And it’s so important to help them make the most of their life…

And what an absolute privilege to do what I do… I couldn’t feel more blessed!

I will be presenting my full end of life doula services in the last quarter of 2024 and by then, I will also have a specific section on my website in English and French.
