Mini Jerkbait Gets Demolished by a Massive Canal PB!

This ended up being an epic session. I decided to fish the canal with small jerkbaits and hard baits in the hope of catching some good size redfin perch. I decided to hit a more wild area of the canal in the hopes of finding fish that hadn't had much pressure. This method can be killer as the weather warms up through spring time. The session was going well with lots fish coming to the bank. No monsters but great action on the light setup. Then out of nowhere a massive new pb (personal best) slammed into the bait!
