Directions:
Making the MCT Oil Infusion There are two methods for creating this infusion.

Low & Slow Method: With this method, take the dried botanicals and place them in the glass mason jar. Pour the Organic MCT Oil over top of the herbs, ensuring they are completely submerged. Some of the herbs may float, and that is okay. Place the lid on tightly and store the container in a room temp area for 3-6 days depending on the intensity desired. Use within a week.

Heated Method: With this method, take the dried botanicals and place them in the glass mason jar. Pour the Organic MCT Oil over top of the herbs, ensuring they are completely submerged. Place your glass jar on the top of a hot plate (or you can use a double boiler, but it is vital that no water is introduced to the mixture) Heat the mixture, stirring frequently to between 110-120F. Remove from heat and allow to cool back to room temp before use.

Directions for Making the Serum
Once you have all your ingredients measured out, and your herbal infusion as completely cooled, just combine all ingredients and combine. Save the Vitamin E until last. Since Vitamin E can be viscous even at room temp, you can bring your mixture up in temp on a hot plate or double boiler to help it along at a low to medium heat. Do not overheat (trying to stay below 80F).
To Use:

As Facial Serum Apply a l drops to hands and apply evening to the face & neck as desired. This formula also functions well as a makeup primer.

As a Hair Serum Apply l-3 drops of product to hands and apply evenly to the ends of towel dried or dry hair working up. Style has usual.

Substitutions & Customizations:

This recipe can be customized in so may fun ways. The only ingredients we recommend you leave alone are the MCT Oil Certified Organic (because it is a perfect choice for infusions due to its stability), and the Daikon Radish Root Extract & the Hemisqualane as these are the ingredients that provide the luxury sensory feel (similar to dry oils) that really sets this product apart The Acal Oil can be more expensive and can certainly be replaced with another good facial oil like Rosehip or Evening Primrose.

As for the infusion, get creative and use whatever botanicals you like! Just remember that using dried herbs is ideal over fresh herbs for the sake of stability. The Vitamin E Oil is vital to the products preservation. But if you are planning on selling this product, you can add an oil soluble full spectrum preservative such as LexGuard Natural to increase the shelf life considerably.
