Canon RF 50mm f/1.4L VCM 10Bit 4K Cinematic (Shot on C50 in Osaka)

This is Canon RF 50mm f/1.4L VCM Video Test, I had this lens for almost half year already. But I didn’t have time to test it out until my Japan work trip. So about 2 years ago, I have reviewed the RF 35mm f/1.4L VCM lens. It was an awesome lens. But I found that 50mm focal length is better for myself. So I switched over to the 50mm.

The reason why I went for the 50mm f/1.4L over the f/1.2L because of the size. As I do run and gun type of shooting a lot. Smaller the better.

Over all, I think this is such a great lens. Its very light weight and the bokeh is just beautiful. But I just wish this lens does come with the lens IS. It might not be a huge issue with the R6 Mark III. But as I was using the Canon C50. The camera did not have the IBIS. So the only solution was using a gimbal. It’s not the end of the world. But it is good to have it.
