heard a lot of noise outside my window so decided to check it out, and there was a hawk that had caught a bird, recorded as good as i could

The animal was already injured before I started to record. It would not have survived even if I tried to save it. The jackdaw would just have found another prey. These are two wild animals and this happens to millions of animals every single day.
