THIS "BACKYARD BATTLEFIELD" VIDEO WAS FILMED BY A CREW WITH FIREARM EXPERIENCE IN SAFE CONDITIONS AT ALL TIMES. Tracer sections were filmed with a known backstop for ricochets after a full day of rain. All traditional firearm rules are also adhered to:

1. Treat all guns as if they are loaded.
2. Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target.
4. Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.

My interest in video games led to an interest in real life firearms and responsible firearm ownership and in this "Backyard Battlefield" series I bring you guys along for the ride! In this series we'll check out historical firearms, work on project weapons and more.

Here in Part 3 of my M1A/M14 series I've finally completed the marksman version of my M1A and we're going to take it out for some scoped shooting and take a look at the history behind it!
