Liz finds it ever so diifficult to get a new owner for Mrs. Ferret. But then, who would like to have a pet that only eats and sleeps? The day Jon accepts to keep her for a while as a favour to Liz, life turns tragic for Garfield: he is starving! Mrs. Ferret simply zooms in and gulfs it all down and... no leftovers! A shocked Garfield tries to find her a new home. When her mother brings him Mrs. Ferret, Nathan, the bratty scientist across the street, immediately rejoices at the idea of firing one of his elaborate ray devices at the ferret: Mrs. Ferret soon becomes twice the size of the house! Panic is growing in the neighbourhood. Will Garfield save the day?
