Here is the big 10 month beard shave off.
This is my usual routine for polishing and sharpening my straight razors. I use Jasper as my midrange and finer honing stone. Before it I set the Bevel of my razor on a 1000 grit stone or I lap the back side of my jasper at 200 grit and use that as a coarse stone.
When the edge is set, I slurry my jasper once with a diamond plate and then hone. To finish the edge I wash away the slurry and do polishing strokes on just water. This is a very fast stone so once the bevel is set it’s quick work. Then I strop on flax and leather.
