Which is better? Brushed vs Brushless RC Crawling (Hobbywing 1080 vs Fusion)

This really surprised me!

My go-to setup for years now has been the Hobbywing 1080 ESC + a Holmes Hobbies 21T, 550 brushed motor. I run it on 3S, and it does everything I want it to do. Good power, good reliability, waterproof....really. Everything.

BUT - there are these brushless setups. They must be better - such as the Hobbywing Fusion setup. Nice and compact with the motor and ESC in 1 unit. The real question - is it really better? It is worth double the cost of the brushed setup?

Brushless setups are a no-brainer when it comes to bashing, drifting, racing...basically all forms of RC. Watch along to see if that trend continues in a crawler.
