#13 Android Notification Tutorial - Sending Notification using HTTP V1

In this Android Notification Tutorial Series, we will learn about
- Creating Simple Notifications
- Sending remote notifications using Firebase Cloud Messaging or FCM
- Sending device to device notifications
- Sending notificatoin from backend server
- Broadcasting notification across multiple devices

And many more things.

Now we need to learn about the new HTTP V1 API for sending the notification. So our task here is to create a RESTful API that will receive the request to send notifications to the specified device.
And for building the REST API I am going to use NodeJS.

In this video we will use the generated access token to send notification using POSTMAN.

Android Notification are very important feature to increase your active user base. You can send some important notification about your application when the user is not using your application. You can also create real time chat application using the notifications.
