1999 Polaris Scrambler 400 4X4 Part 3 Starter removal through the bottom

Reading many message boards most say that you have to remove the CVT drive and take the starter out through the side of the machine, well. I saw where the starter was when doing oil change and fugured I'd try it through the bottom. Yup, it works through the bottom!!

I also take the starter apart to see why it failed.. it was repaired, put together and installed. works great until new unit is installed.

I love doing shit like this, picking up crap and making it run :). So if you are into the same thing, watch and follow, give me some pointers and maybe you can pick up some ideas as well!

I'm sure people have different routes of checking and repairing, this is the way I do things which might not necessarily be the correct way :)
