Jasper Jordan | Looking Too Closely

This was so much harder to make than I thought it would be. Initially I had planned to have finished this somewhere around 4x13. But while I had a good chunk of this finished before 4x11, I just couldn't work on it. Season 4 left me utterly dissatisfied with his arc, if you can even call it that, and I really didn't know how to work with most of it (hence the low amount of s4 scenes in this vid). And don't even get me started on 4x11. I'm still pissed that Jasper's death was treated like an afterthought and only given two scenes, both of which not even from his pov. Every major character that had died before Jasper got a proper final tribute in their last episode. But clearly the writers didn't have enough time or didn't care enough to give him that much, and I will forever be bitter about that. But this show and this character still mean a lot to me and I am slowly regaining my joy in vidding it, especially after how good that finale was and how excited I am for most things we know about season 5.

I could ramble about how much Jasper means to me or expand on my thoughts regarding his s4 arc, but I'm already struggling with how to put them into words, so I'll try to keep this desc short. I still find it hard to pinpoint exactly why I'm so attached to Jasper, but I do know that I'm forever grateful for his storyline and for Devon Bostick's incredible portrayal of him. I tried to capture as much of it as I could in this video but there are still so many aspects I couldn't go into. However, I don't plan on stopping to vid him anytime soon so you can expect to see those pop up in future videos.
