Mountain Hunting in Africa | John X Safaris

Derrick Ratliff of Horizon Firearms took on the mountains of the East Cape for an African Mountain Hunting Adventure. Getting up high and experiencing the freedom that comes with the mountains is something quite impossible to describe to anyone who is not an altitude hunting enthusiast.
He pursued both Vaal Rhebuck and Klipspringer above 5000 feet in combination with a variety of plains game including a number of Tiny 10. Hunting the high ground is a must for any hunter who wishes to experience that much more, who relishes the hardship in the journey, and who enjoys the success of making a harvest under trying circumstances while sitting back and enjoying the view from the top of the world.
