Juvenile Osprey Rescue on the St. Croix River

On Sunday, Aug. 23, Belwin Conservancy Operations Director Justin Sykora was on the St. Croix River near Bayport, Minn., when he saw two osprey fighting: an adult and a juvenile.
The older bird injured the younger one, and that's when Justin called Belwin Interpretive Naturalist Lynette Anderson to talk about what, if anything, they should do.

Because osprey are still threatened and endangered in some states, they decided to try and give this bird a chance.
