WATCH: A "Fireball" spotted on dash camera in GA; meteor sightings across Southeast in TN, SC and NC

Central Georgians and Peach State residents are reporting sightings of something falling from the sky. Many, including those in metro Atlanta and northern Georgia county officials, have relayed reports of a "fireball" in the sky, according to reports from our sister station 11Alive.

People in Warner Robins, Eastman, Cochran, Conyers, Gainesville and more notice the falling debris, and compare it to a firework, or something that was shot out of the sky. 11Alive said there were also sightings in the City of Roswell, Forsyth County and Dawson County.

The Henry County Emergency Management reported that a piece of meteorite fell through someone's roof in a 'fireball incident.'

They said Rockdale County had reports of people hearing a "loud sound like a boom" and houses shaking. The National Weather Service Peachtree City office said they received reports of people concerned about a possible earthquake after they felt the ground shake.

There have been several reports across Georgia, alongside South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee.
