Simon’s a passionate and dedicated 4WDer through and through, having spent the last decade or so working his way through a tough old 4Runner, a big 80 and onto a rock-solid GQ. When the opportunity came to buy a standard, cheap but neat RD28 GU Patrol for the paltry sum of $6,000, Simon jumped at it.
