Also, we know and have experienced in our lives … the very real and significant effects of fear … as we all have. Yet we are so glad that we know that we can rely on the opposite of fear -- faith in God -- to be strengthened and see clearly the deceptive and downward pull of fear. Fear, truly is a Liar. But when we come to see fear for what it really is … it’s like the wizard in the Wizard of Oz … he just turns out to be a small guy, rather than some great fearful character that he initially appeared to be.
So the next time we each feel fear creep into our thoughts or trouble our hearts … let’s choose to replace fear with faith in God :)
