The Osmond Brothers Show Their Versatility

This show I remember well, “The Glory Of America”, was the real start to making the Stadium Of Fire come to life. This show kicked off with Donny Osmond entering, singing Neil Diamond’s hit, “Coming To America”, on a helicopter. Which really got the audience excited. Well here are the amazing: Alan Osmond, Wayne Osmond, Merrill Osmond and Jay Osmond, The Osmond Brothers performing country hits as well as showing off their talents playing a bunch of different instruments. You can see the fantastic talents of these guys knowing they got their start with Andy Williams, then to big hits in Rock and Roll, then country music and evening playing good old fashion music. I was production manager, which included helping get the horses ready for their entrance, making sure they had the battery packs charged for their rhinestone jackets they wore on the horses. There was so much happening during the show, I never got a second to really watch the show live, so didn’t see anything until afterwards and we were in the edit suite cutting together the tapes from all the cameras we had running. I think the show turned out well. I hope you enjoy this piece of history with The Osmond Brothers.
