Biogas: A Bankable Investment Opportunity

"Biogas: A Bankable Investment Opportunity" aimed at making biogas technology financially accessible to manufacturing and construction SMEs, hotels and household in Sri Lanka. Over 30 interested financial institutions were encouraged to include biogas systems as a bankable investment opportunity in their loan portfolio. Resource persons from PRASAC, Cambodia imparted knowledge of biogas related products, loan schemes development, risks and returns associated with lending for biogas systems. The workshop was graced by representatives from the Sri Lanka's Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA), Lanka Biogas Association (LBA) and Sri Lanka Standards Institute.
