First Bird of the Year was BANDED! 2021 North Dakota Early Goose Hunting

Talk about a true freelance mission- After the first weekend of Game Fair in Minnesota, we pointed the diesel west toward bone-dry North Dakota with low expectations in search of August honkers. With nothing but an un-brushed blind, a bag of V2F Canada silos, and a couple un-reliable shotguns still dirty from last spring, our lanyards came back a little heavier & we had a heck of a few days before heading back to Ramsey for the 2nd weekend of Game Fair. With the first bird of the season being banded, the bar has been set awfully high for this fall!
