The Greek’s opponents Richmond County, may have had nothing left to play for in the season, but they clearly did not get the Greek’s invite to a trophy parade; Richmond fought like men possessed in the 2nd half, drawing back level despite going down to 10 men and the Greeks squandering a penalty.

The Greeks thought they had retrieved the title via a Pangrazzi goal in the 86th minute, only to have it controversially disallowed by the linesman flag.

Heading into stoppage time everyone was wondering would the Greeks find that Agueroooo moment, but the soap operator we could have all happily watched go on forever had the floodlights shut off heading into stoppage time 💡🚫😱

The match is suspended, potentially with the final minutes of stoppage time to be played. The Greeks could still win the title outright on Thursday by beating Leros.
