We finally completed the wall, but every now and then I just go around checking different areas of the wall. I do this to ensure no one is tampering with it. Because even though you have a wall here, you still must remain proactive about watching it.

I have a Ghanaian friend who owns lots of real estate in Ghana. He lives in the US and his brother is here watching over the properties. He even owns about 40 acres next to the property I built in the mountain.

He came to visit Ghana a couple weeks ago and he told me they had a surprise at one of his properties. He said that a property located not too far from where I live has a wall around it much like the one I have, but much smaller. However, he discovered that someone had carefully removed the blocks from the wall so that they could reuse them.

After driving through the community he and his brother discovered that someone was building a house with the very same blocks from their wall. Upon further investigation they discovered that the person was the junior brother of the local chief. They called the police and the matter is under investigation.

So, as you can see, having a wall does not solve all your security problems. Any security measure you take can be compromised so you must understand that nothing is 100% reliable. If you want to worry less about these issues then consider buying a property in our new sustainable community that we developing at Migrating Culture Crossing.
