A few weeks ago, I did another fall hike this time hiking the Schoolhouse Gap loop. This is a very peaceful hike in the woods and although I saw a few people towards the end, I felt like I had the trail mainly to myself. This was mid-late October and the colors were so vibrant and popping! I feel so fortunate to have experienced so much fall colors on the trails in the Smokies and it makes my heart happy. :-)
