In this episode, we dive into the structure of Preheat, the first track on my Pizza Party EP. You’ll see how this track compares to Thumb War and Change Up in terms of arrangement, length, and energy flow. We explore how melodic intros, vocal build-ups, and mid-drop variations create a dynamic and engaging dubstep track.

This track features a more melodic intro and lead melody, a unique buildup with vocal chops, and flexible drop structures with 2-bar and 4-bar intros to drops. We also discuss why some tracks have outros and others don’t, based on the arrangement and energy needs.
