A quick tour of some of the famous sites in London
1) Buckingham Palace - FREE - closest tube stations are Victoria, St. James' Park or Green Park. For a more pleasant walk, get off at Green Park.
Best time to visit is during the changing of guards which lasts for approximately 45 minutes. This takes place daily at 11:30 between April - July and on alternate days for the rest of the year.
2) Trafalgar Square & Nelson's Column - This is a nice place to chill and soak up the atmosphere. The National Gallery is here and is FREE to enter.
Covent Garden Market is also near and worth a visit.
Other places nearby include the British Museum and The Transport Museum.
3) The Houses of Parliament & Big Ben & The London Eye
