During the 90s Disney animated movies were going through another golden period with the release of 1991’s Beauty and the Beast which became the first animated movie to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture.

It was followed but other hit movies like 1992’s Aladin and 1994’s The Lion King. But an often-forgotten Disney gem of the 90s is 1997’s Hercules. It includes the voice acting talents of James Woods and Danny DeVito and is loosely based on Greek mythology's legendary hero Hercules.
