The Shirui Lily Festival is an annual cultural event in Manipur, organized by the Manipur Tourism Department. Originally celebrated by the locals of Shirui village in Ukhrul, the festival pays tribute to the state flower, the Shirui Lily, which blooms from the last week of May to the second week of June.
Held this year from 20–24 May 2025, the festival highlights ecotourism, conservation, and the rich Tangkhul Naga culture through music concerts, cultural performances, and various community events.
This year the festival’s most thrilling attractions is Thing Gari—a traditional downhill wooden cart race known for its speed and excitement. Often referred to as the "Naga Harley Davidson," it captivates audiences with its rugged charm and adrenaline rush.
