A video tour of Auschwitz Concentration Camp, Krakow, Poland, May 2023

I am now 66 years old and this was my first trip to Poland.
Auschwitz is a name that is embedded in all minds of a certain age and its horrors are rightly passed down through the generations.
I suppose it is a tourist attraction but it didn't feel like one.
I am not sure which reality hit home the most, the fact that so many pointlessly perished or that other human beings could commit such atrocities.
Hopefully none of us will ever know how we would react were we ever put in these situations.
I have kept the video simple, detailed information can be found elsewhere but hopefully it projects some of the emotion one feels when visiting this place. I also read a book on our trip, "The Nazi's knew my Name" by Magda Hellinger and Maya Lee, the visit and the book combined inspired me to produce this video.
