In this video, I have explained how to short sell stocks based on Stan Weinstein Trading method. How to short stocks is always tricky and with Stan Weinstein method, you can implement short selling with ease as his framework is comprehensive and easy to implement.

Stan Weinstein suggests using 30 period weekly moving average to identify bias of price trend. You can also use 150 daily moving average as a substitute. He also advocates short selling only those stocks that are clearly in stage 4 of wyckoff price analysis cycle. I have explained this in depth.

Furthermore, Stan Weinstein advocates short selling only those stocks whose relative strength line is clearly moving lower. Relative strength as an indicator is given lot of importance in Stan weinstein's book.

As a short sell strategy, Stan Wesintein also recommend analyzing broader market trend, followed by sector trend and stock trend. Along with this, he also emphasizes on role of volume while short selling stocks. As a stock moves lower, volumes should clearly expand higher.

In his book, Stan Weinstein clearly mentions when not to short sell stocks. He has given specific guidelines on this which I have explained throughout the video. Towards the end of the video, I have explained Stan Weinstein trading method to short sell stocks by taking up 3 separate case studies.
