The Chainsaw-Built, 15’ Sky Deck is Finished! Pt2 #32
After some more chainsaw milling of both white pine and cedar, I was able to finish building the sky deck. Plagued by continued bad weather, it took many days of waiting before I could drag my sleeping bag up there one evening to check out the stars. Because of the solid forest canopy where I live (in a tent, year round) there are very few places to star gaze, so I built this 15" high deck in the middle of the forest.
