Gigafactory Texas on 27 August 2021! This is where the Cyber Truck and Model Y will be built!

Wow ... what a busy day around the site with so many areas of progress to cover! The biggest development today is the installation of two spaceframes in the north “Alley”, with at least four more being assembled on the east side.

For the introduction of the video, we concentrate on four key areas where progress was the most evident, but these only scratch the surface of all that was going on … truly an amazing day to watch Giga Texas get closer to beginning production … possibly in as little as 6 more weeks! Awesome!

Here are some of the highlights from today's video:
- in the Alleyway area between the paint and battery cell structures, we see two of the space frame/truss structures installed and there are another 4 being assembled on the east side. If this is the roof structure all the way to the north, they will need another 6 or 7 trusses assembled and installed to span the distance.
- The battery cell structure and surrounding area continues to be very busy, with notable interior and roof progress this morning! Also, there is additional trenching and large water pipe install on the west side, including a new dividing/retaining wall extending from the foundation
- On the General Assembly structure, more walls are being installed south of the large window design area and they have paved the last major section of the parking lot in the southwest corner.
- The casting area roof is getting more concrete poured on the roof this morning and the bridge between the paint shop is growing too. There appears to be several ground areas being prepared for further slab and foundation work soon.
- We take a closer look at the new main entrance intersection area, including the now operational traffic lights.
- The Body-in-White structure is getting the final walls installed on the last remaining area, and they are now about 75% completed. There are also dividing/retaining walls being installed on this side too.
- The central area is getting footings excavated in the big pit and rebar squares are present as well. The deep pier work continues just ahead of the new column footings, and we see more plumbing being installed.
- The stamping structure west area where the concrete panels were removed now has all the metal studs installed and most of the area is covered with blue insulating panels.
- At the south end and across the highway, we see many more storm water pipes being installed with what looks to be outlets onto the Colorado river. In addition, the roads look much more finished across the entire area, joining on the far west to highway 973.
- Finally, we see a lot of steel deliveries being temporarily stored on the east foundation area as well as a welding area which was active this morning.
