Digimon has been long compared to Pokémon, but upon further inspection the two are nothing alike. Digimon Adventure was the first Digimon Anime and tells the story of seven kids, Tai, Matt, TK, Sora, Mimi, Izzy, and Joe as they're transported to a new world. Its in this new "Digital World" that they meet the Digimon.
