I’d buy THIS Tudor watch over a Black Bay Pro any day. This is the Tudor Pelagos FXD GMT. That’s FXD, as in f-i-x-e-d, referring to the fixed strap bars of the watch. Designed for use by the aviation component of the Marine Nationale, this watch is ready for anything you might throw at it. It comes in a 42mm, 200m water-resistant titanium case—with a green fabric strap—and you can keep track of multiple zones thanks to the GMT hand and a rather satisfyingly clicky 24-hour bezel. You'll find a METAS-certified Calibre MT5652-U beating away inside too. Now, while this watch is all about functionality, it's still rather stylish. There’s a creamy warmth to the hands, markers, and matching date window, and although the fixed strap bars will limit your strap options to those of the NATO variety, I think if you were to chuck a black one on here, it could actually look quite formal too.
