[GINGIVITIS IN CATS] & How to treat it

In this video, you'll see what gingivitis looks like & how to apply oral maintenance gel to the gums to help treat the redness & swelling.

I show different examples of gum health, my DSH Sly is first, then my male sphinx Chu, then female sphinx Touya.
Things to remember:
#1 Check your kitty's gums for redness or swelling!
#2 Choose a cleaning method; tooothpaste or gum gel
#3 Get a very soft baby brush (earliest age) or a finger brush
#4 Gently lift lips and apply treatment
#5 Don't cover their snout or eyes - keep your hands to the sides of their mouth
#6 Use a reward system, like outdoor exposure, playing with them, or giving catnip!
#7 Don't punish the cat- be patient and let the cat become familiar with the new routine
