Site preparation begins for a new house build using the Ford Transit, Scania low‑bed trailer, and JCB backhoe loader. The episode covers securing the area, transporting equipment, removing topsoil, and leveling the ground with laser‑guided accuracy in FS25.
Hello and welcome to my new series where I build a construction and gardening services company. It is a timelapse series which is a continuation of the previous series. This is episode #41 - of Farming Simulator 25 Raven Valley Roleplay Public Works series.

The episode begins with a visit to a newly purchased plot of land where the client plans to build a house. The area is currently enclosed by a wire fence with a small gate, and the ground is covered with uneven foliage and patches of topsoil that need to be removed. After discussing the plan with the client, the first task is to prepare the site so heavy machinery can be brought in safely.

To do that, the Toyota Hilux is used to drive back to the base. The Ford Transit is loaded with cones and signage, which will be needed to secure the work zone and mark out a parking area for the truck and trailer. Once everything is packed, the Transit is taken back to the construction site. Cones are placed around the entrance and along the fence line to create enough space for manoeuvring the low‑bed trailer later on.

With the site secured, it’s time to collect the main machine for the job. Back at the base, the Scania low‑bed trailer is prepared, and the JCB backhoe loader is driven onto the ramps and secured for transport. The combination is then taken back to the client’s land, where the backhoe loader is unloaded and positioned near the marked work area.

Before digging begins, a laser level is brought out to check the height differences across the plot. The readings show that some sections are higher while others dip lower, meaning soil will need to be shifted from one side to the other to create a consistent grade. Using the front bucket and rear excavator arm, the top layer of foliage and soil is scraped away. The higher spots are cut down, and the removed material is transported across the plot to fill the lower areas.

The process continues section by section, gradually shaping the land into a level surface suitable for future construction. The backhoe loader moves steadily across the plot, removing rough patches and redistributing soil where needed. By the end of the day, most of the leveling work is complete. Only the harsh edges remain, which will be smoothed out in the next episode to finish preparing the ground.
