Willach Scripts Ready System (user guide)

The Willach Scripts Ready System is based on an alpha-numeric allocation of space. The system consists of an alpha-numeric filing book and a set of plastic pockets as well as a set of Willach FAMA drawers. The drawers are divided into segments, with each segment numbered to match the plastic pockets.
1. Paperwork of a completed script is put into one of the available numbered plastic pockets.
2. The prescription items are then placed into the corresponding numbered drawer or segment.
3. The plastic pocket with the paperwork is then filed alphabetically according to the patients surname.
4. When a patient returns to collect their script, the pharmacist retrieves the plastic pocket from the alphabetical file, checks the number on the pocket and retrieves the medication from the numbered drawer segment.
5. The empty plastic pocket is returned to the back of the file for use with the next script.
