A shocking incident was reported from Jagatsinghpur where a fisherman was allegedly dragged away by a crocodile in the Mahanadi River near Chaumuhani. The victim has been identified as 61-year-old Mahendra Sethi, who had gone fishing early in the morning when the attack occurred.

Rescue and search operations are currently underway, with the Odisha Fire Services team from Kujang reaching the spot promptly. Authorities continue efforts to locate the missing fisherman while monitoring the situation closely.
