On this episode we compare the one of 2020's biggests releases so far, the new Seiko Prospex Alpinist to a perennial favorite often hailed as the Ultimate Attainable Everyday Icon, the Sinn 556. Both sporting features like compact sub-40mm fitment, 200m water resistance, display casebacks showcasing automatic movements, and Sapphire crystals with Anti-reflective coatings, these timepieces check a lot of the same boxes while they look quite different from one another, share the same simple steel sports watch aesthetic.
