Black Hat dance from Surmang Dutsitil

This video was taken at Surmang in 2002 at Dutsi Til monastery in Tibet by Surmang Khenpo Tsering Gyurme. It is taken from the first 10 minutes of a longer DVD that captures selected progressive portions of the Black Hat Dance, and Chakrasamvara Dance at Surmang. The scene depicted in this video is a ritual slaying of a clay effigy depicting the demon of egohood, (or anti dharmic forces.)
