Author Richard Ben Cramer discusses his book "What Do You Think of Ted Williams Now?" with Don Imus

From my collection of off-cable-TV recordings I made on VHS cassettes, this is a telephone interview of author Richard Ben Cramer (1950 - 2013) on his second book about Major League Baseball Hall of Famer, Ted Williams. The interview was conducted by Don Imus on October 10, 2002 on his morning radio program, "IMUS IN THE MORNING"--simulcast on MSNBC. Cramer not only discusses Williams' baseball career but talks about Ted's success as an angler, his generosity, his run-ins with the Boston sportswriters and how fellow players felt about him, good and bad (such as Joe DiMaggio's opinion of him).

I did not crop out MSNBC's news crawl at the bottom of the video. It carried brief reports on the lead up to the Iraq invasion and the two snipers who were terrorizing residents of suburban Maryland and Virginia.
