Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite 5G Review | As good as the Poco X3?

Reviewing Xiaomi's Mi 10T Lite, a 5G-ready budget smartphone boasting impressive specs for a cheap price. The 64MP camera struggled in my tests at times, vs the Poco X3 - one of the best affordable phones of 2020. However the rest of the phone - gaming performance with PubG and Call of Duty, battery life and so on - made me really enjoy using the Mi 10T Lite.

Xiaomi's usual MiUI 12 software smarts offer a lot of bonus features, although Android 11 is still MIA. That quad camera tech is headed up by a Sony IMX682 sensor, which captures good looking photos if conditions aren't challenging, although it struggles with motion too.

Gamers will love those Game Turbo features, while the stable frame rate and 240Hz touch response rate are ideal for online action titles. The Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite is also a strong performer for battery life, offering two days of use if you're careful. And you also get full 5G support, on top of dependable WiFI connectivity.

So if you're after a brilliant budget phone with a camera that punches above its weight, go for the Poco X3 NFC. If you're more concerned with having 5G support, the Mi 10T Lite is a winner.
