Air Canada slashes more regional routes, lays off nearly 2,000

In another round of cuts, Air Canada has eliminated another dozen regional routes, leaving five communities without any Air Canada service, and laid off nearly 2,000 employees. The cutbacks are leading to increased calls for specific aid for the airline industry.
