Kristi Noem Told the Truth. Trump Fired Her For It.

Kristi Noem was fired as DHS Secretary. The official reason? Never stated. But the timeline tells the story.

Noem spent $220 million on DHS ad campaigns featuring herself. At a Senate hearing, she testified that Trump approved the campaign. The White House immediately denied it.

But according to Axios, Trump personally saw the ads before they aired and told Noem he wanted her face in them.

Noem wasn't fired for the spending. She was fired for saying Trump knew about it — because that made him look bad.
