Reflections on the official end of #NaNoWriMo, Part IV (General summary of my highs and lows)

A discussion of my highs and lows, wordcount-wise, from my participation with #NaNoWriMo over the years. This isn't a boring laundry-list of everything I did, nor an overly detailed account, but just a general summary of the wordcount I got for each project in the main November event during the years I officially participated. My all-time best was almost 131K in 2018, and my most humiliating was barely eking out 50K in 2021. 2024 was bad too, another 50K close to midnight on the final day, but that seemed almost inevitable given the complete disarray NaNo had fallen into by that point, with such a toxic impact on my own writing habits.
