ସୋନପୁର ଉପଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳ ଅଂଶୁଘାତରେ ଆକ୍ରାନ୍ତ। ଉପଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳ ଡ. ସୌମ୍ୟରୂପା ରଥ ଅଂଶୁଘାତରେ ଆକ୍ରାନ୍ତ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଡ଼ାକ୍ତରଖାନାରେ ଭର୍ତ୍ତି ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି। ବିଶିମୁଣ୍ଡା ଜନଶୁଣାଣି ଶିବିରରେ ସାମିଲ ହୋଇଥିଲେ ଉପଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳ।

Sub-Collector Dr. Saumyaroopa Rath of Sonpur fell ill due to heatstroke while attending a Jansunani Shibir (public grievance hearing) at Bishimunda. She was immediately rushed to the district headquarters hospital for treatment.

The incident occurred while she was actively participating in public hearing duties. Due to extreme heat conditions, she suddenly became unwell and collapsed on the spot.

Doctors have confirmed that she is under observation and receiving necessary medical care. The condition has raised concerns over working conditions during intense summer heat in Odisha.
