Aligning mouth embroidery!
Aligning mouth embroidery can be tricky, even if you pin it a bunch. You can solve this by basting the area first by hand!
Basting is the term for loose stitches that are meant to check placement and keep things in place temporarily before going over them with a more permanent stitch. Some instructions will tell you to remove them after you're done, but I typically sew over them with a normal length stitch.
