“Is it true that the life span of a condominium building is about 50 years in the Philippines? Then they will demolish it? Is it because of the safety issues? Can you please further explain? In some countries, even if the building is greater than 100 years old, they still try to preserve it.”

The lifespan of a condominium in the Philippines is NOT 50 years because Philippine corporations can exist perpetually and a condominium structure may last more than 50 years depending on the build quality and maintenance management.
