Hey! I am Pierre-Christian Brochet. I am French and for 25 years I have been crossing that huge country called Russia. What thrills me the most is the richness and variety of the cultures which are spread across the territory. That’s what I’m going to tell you about in very short films that portray one of the many faces of Russia’s cultures.

Today I will tell you about the amazing “Bride Fest”, namely the festival “Gorka”, which is celebrated in the center of the village of Ust-Tsilma in the Komi Republic!

Sophisticated dances movements, finest outfits, as well as songs - these are all the components of the holiday.

Residents of the Ust-Tsilma village could easily open their fashion school, the outfits of local beauties are so rich and varied. And look how they dance!

I will also tell you about how to wear a traditional Russian costume.
